One school, three levels, one path
“Irfan Ngjeqari” is a non-public education complex in Lagja Kombinat, Berat. Kindergarten, primary school and high school share one campus, so a child can grow from the first classroom to the Matura in the same place.
Our motto says it plainly: We made it! Can you?! Every year the high school publishes its results, and for four years running every graduate has gone on to university.
Since 2000, as the first independent school in the Berat region, it has given every child clear teaching, study with a teacher close by and a full day at school.

A full day at school

The school is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Since 11 January 2000
“Irfan Ngjeqari” is the first independent school in the Berat region, conceived by Mr Irfan Ngjeqari and brought into being by Mrs Resmije Ngjeqari.
A successful school
The primary school alone took more than 100 prizes in competitions and olympiads across its first fifteen years. Almost every pupil who finished here went on to complete higher education, in Albania or abroad.

1999
Approved by the Ministry of Education under Ministerial Order no. 145 of 4 November 1999.

2000
The school opens its doors on 11 January. In its first year 118 pupils attend. Its first leadership: Mr Hysen Guri as didactic director, Mr Polizoi Bakra as administrative director and Mrs Resmije Ngjeqari as general administrator.

2001
In September the kindergarten and the high school open, with Mr Roland Kusta as director.

Today
More than 200 pupils in the primary school, 50 children in the kindergarten and more than 180 in the high school.
THE SCHOOL'S AIM
To build in every pupil the interest and the capacity for continuous learning.
Our objectives
Measurable objectives, set at the start of the school year on the basis of diagnostic assessment across every subject.
- To win five olympiad prizes.
- More than 40% of final-year pupils to be graded 8, 9 and 10 in the D1, D2 and D3 State Matura examinations.
- In every high-school class, to bring below 15% the number of pupils working to minimum objectives.
- Differences of up to two grades between the teacher's assessment and the State Matura result to stay under 15%.
- Our high school to rank among the three best in the region for pupil achievement.
LEADERSHIP
A word from the CEO
We inspire young minds to build a better future.
She has led the “Irfan Ngjeqari” independent high school since 2017: first as the school's director and, since 2020, as its CEO.
She is an international lawyer with a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence and Human Resources. She also leads the HN Legal Studio law practice and ASR, the robotics and STEM education programme, and is part of the Forbes Under 30 community in education.
Every child who comes through this school has something worth finding. Our work is to find it and help it grow: in the classroom, in the lab, on the pitch, and well beyond them.
