PROGRAMMES
The timetable is only half of it. At “Irfan Ngjeqari” the afternoon carries the other half: a robot that has to be made to work, a Cambridge level to reach, a football session, a ballet rehearsal for the school show. What pupils do after the bell is as planned as what comes before it. Everything the school runs is gathered here in one place, grouped into four areas, so a parent can see the whole year rather than only the subjects on the timetable.
Robotics runs with VEX Robotics and with ASR, the Robotics Institute. Children from age four build mechanisms with gears and motors; by high school they are programming robots in C++. The course is free every day, with transport included. The other areas work the same way: pupils choose, commit to a term, and show what they made at the end of it.

Robotics here is learned by building. Children aged 4–12 assemble models with gears and motors, and students in grades IX–XII program VEX robots in C++, in partnership with ASR. Alongside robotics, pupils learn to use artificial intelligence responsibly, to stay safe online and the digital skills of ICT.

Grades IX–XII
Robots with sensors and motors, programmed in C++. Students work in teams, from an idea to a robot that completes a task.
Video from the course sessions
1 / 9
A desk-high robot, built piece by piece and commanded from the app.
2 / 9
The class works from the parts boxes, each pupil on their own model.
3 / 9
The diagram goes up on the classroom screen and the pupils follow it step by step.
4 / 9
The end of the lesson: everyone holds up what they built.
5 / 9
A motor pulls the cord over a pulley system and the monkey climbs up and down the frame. The pupils adjust the tension until the movement runs smoothly.
6 / 9
A wheeled vehicle with a cargo bed. The class builds it together, step by step, then tests it on the desk to see how much it carries without tipping over.
7 / 9
Gears turn the motor's rotation into the up-and-down motion of the beam, just like a real oil pump. The pupil explains the mechanism herself on camera.
8 / 9
Gears build up speed and release the top in a single motion. The children time how long it spins and try to make it better.
9 / 9
A motorised truck that tows a load behind it. The pupil assembles it from the parts box and tests it until the wheels run without jamming.
English follows the Cambridge English levels, from the first steps to advanced, with exams recognised outside the school.
After lessons the rest of the day begins: a football academy with training and team play, ballet classes working on posture and rhythm for the school shows, and painting, where pupils try drawing, colour and different techniques.
